Election Information

Election Day: November 8th, 2022

•School board elections are held every 2 years, rotating between at large representatives and district representatives

• Board members serve for 4 years

• There are 7 total board members – 4 District Representatives and 3 At Large Representatives

• 2022 is a district election year, meaning you will only select 1 candidate who will represent your local area

• 2024 will be an at-large year, meaning you will select 3 candidates who represent all districts

• HSE is divided into 4 districts based on estimated population

• School board races are non-partisan, meaning candidates won’t have a letter next to their name… this also means that a straight ticket vote will leave these selections blank.  Because of this, school board votes are usually FAR FEWER than the general election totals… MOST PEOPLE LEAVE IT BLANK! MAKE SURE YOU VOTE!!!
